All Elmarlay Kittens are sold to indoor loving homes. I do not sell any of my kittens as potential breed animals. Therefore all Elmarlay kittens are sold with a spey/neuter agreement to ensure that all new owners abide by the GCCF rules of non-active registration.

If a kitten is suitable for show purposes and I decide not to retain it for the future development of my breeding program, then it may be offered as a show neuter if a suitable home is identified.

My links page has many breeders on it, who may be able to help you if you are looking for a kitten that is suitable for Show/Breeding.

As a breeder I take my roll very seriously. I have worked hard to develop suitable breeding lines to work with and have only introduced cats of good and sound breeding. If any health issues are identified then the parentage of the affected animal will be removed from my breeding program.

My cats are 1st and foremost my pets and part of my family they are not breeding machines.

The males within my cattery are only mated to animals that I own, this is done to protect my breeding cats from potential harm. Females only have a single litter a year to ensure they are in peak condition.

My kittens are well socialised and are confident and healthy individuals who adapt well into any household. All Elmarlay kittens leave here,

  • Between 13 & 14 weeks of age.

  • Vaccinated with a completely dead vaccine to include, Flu, Enteritis, FELV & Chlamydia.

  • GCCF Registered.

  • Insured with Petplan for a period of 4 weeks.

  • Micro-Chipped and with registration paper work completed for the Petlog national database.

  • A large kitten pack containing high quality food that the kitten has been raised on whilst within my home.

  • A diet & advice sheet containing all information about worming and feeding routines, this enables the transition to a new home to be as stress free for kitten and new owner as possible.

  • All kittens will have been fully health checked by my vet on two occasions.

  • I can also assure new owners that I am on hand at any time for support or guidance before and after the sale of a kitten.

  • I only hold a kitten with a deposit.

  • If I have no deposit the kitten is still available to other prospective owners.

  • I am afraid the deposit is non refundable. It will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances at my discression.

  • I also reserve the right to withdraw a kitten from sale and refuse the purchase if i see fit to do so.
